Whether we have been married for short time or long, paying heed to the Apostle Paul's admonition that the husband "must love his wife and the wife must respect her husband" must remain central to our lives.  The great thing is that by focusing on a few powerful, biblical ideas, we can better meet one another's needs and grow in our friendship and intimacy. 

The 2010 marriage retreats will be very practical.  Our goal is to both understand each other's needs and learn how to best meet them.  Recognizing the diversity of our church, we have decided to organize three all-church marriage retreats based on "ages and stages."  Each retreat will have similar themes, drawn from Love and Respect by Dr. Emerson Eggerichs, while recognizing some specific opportunities and challenges that we face.  Please register for the retreat that best meets your needs.

Each retreat will begin on Saturday afternoon and run through church on Sunday.  They also offer an optional Friday night stay as well as other special touches.

Our weekend guest speaker will be Kevin and Lisa Robbins from Toronto, Canada.  Kevin and Lisa are gifted, energetic communicators, who have led ministries in Vancouver, Halifax, Los Angeles, and Toronto.  The Robbins are celebrating their twentieth year of marriage and have two wonderful teenage girls, Shannon and Makayla.  Join us for a weekend of fun, romance, and transformation!
