The Land of Enough

As a member of God’s kingdom, I am blessed beyond what I can fathom both here and in the life to come. I may not be able to experience life as a disciple in another country, but I recognize that there is great suffering going on among the family of believers throughout the world. I am in a unique position to use my resources to help my brothers and sisters who are fellow citizens with me in Goods’ kingdom.

I therefore pledge to use this Passport to travel to a missions destination that will allow me resources to be used in a greater way for God’s glory. That destination si the “Land of Enough.”

As a bearer of this Passport, I agree to honestly examine my heart in the light of God’s Word and to make every effort to go to a place where I am content with what I have and able to to be the “cheerful giver” that God loves.

I pledge to be honest and courageous as I give my whole heart to this month-long journey.

“Two things I ask of you, Lord;
do not refuse me before I die:
Keep falsehood and lies far from me;
give me neither poverty nor riches,
but give me only my daily bread.
Otherwise, I may have too much and disown you
and say, ‘Who is the Lord?’
Or I may become poor and steal,
and so dishonor the name of my God.

Proverbs 30:7-9
