BCC All Church Day of Prayer and Fasting

November 18, 2019 all-day

Brothers and Sisters,

It is with joy and conviction that your Elders declare Monday November 18th our next congregational Day of Prayer and Fasting!  Our theme and focus for this special day is “Ask the Lord of the Harvest”.

As our Master taught us in Matthew 9:35-38:

35 Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. 36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. 37 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. 38 Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”

On Monday November 18th, your Elders are asking the congregation to pray, and for those physically able, to fast on behalf of the planting and watering we have done as a congregation to help bring precious souls into His Kingdom.  We have shared our faith, demonstrated hospitality, opened the scriptures, and modeled the love of the Savior with friends and family who desperately need the saving grace of Jesus.

In just a few short weeks, we will see 2019 draw to a close.  But, with a united and strengthened effort, we can see still many more baptisms and restorations, to the glory of our great God!  Regions, sectors, house churches and family groups can rally with the power of the Spirit that was fueled by our prayer and fasting and bring many more souls into the light.

In the next few days, please remind your brothers and sisters that Monday November 18th is our congregational Day of Prayer and Fasting.

With much love and great respect,

Your Elders of the Boston Church
